Chris Vannini joins 48 Now to talk March Madness, Auburn, and Alabama ahead of Sweet Sixteen

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - It’s been an exciting NCAA basketball Tournament this March, and the excitement is just getting started for fans in the Yellowhammer State!

Both the Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide look to reach the Elite Eight as the Tide battle it out with BYU Thursday and the Tigers take on Michigan on Friday.

Sports reporter Chris Vannini with The Athletic recently joined 48 Now as he broke down both matchups, shared his biggest surprises in the Tournament thus far, and revealed his pick to win it all!

Vannini also spoke about the current NCAA Transfer portal and how it impacts Mid-Major teams in the Tournament.
